2025 Trends

2025 Trends

From New York fashion week, Harrogate Bridal Week and Barcelona Bridal Week we bring you next year’s trending looks.

LAYERS – waterfall definition and couture lines creating the most exquisite illusions.

RUFFLES & Textures – whilst we see a mix of light and heavy fabrics being used in the same dress, you can also find lots of light ruffles in play too.

Dropped Waists –  not for everyone we understand but a brilliant silhouette for those that love it. Diagonal waistbands are popping up everywhere too. Look out for Caroline Castigliano Charlize or KYHA Blue gown for asymmetrical lines.

90s Necklines –  SHAPES –  round, square, triangle, asymmetric and straight, all good.

ETHEREAL –  Californian designer Claire Pettibone continues to dominate the Ethereal world at the trade shows. And of course our friend Bowen Dryden always delivers on the garden goddess vibes too.

VOLUME  think 1700s, v waisted corsets, Basques and big skirts. Ian Stuart would have been leading the way in this revolution for sure. I’m hoping to see some revivals of the gowns from my favourite childhood film Slipper and the Rose.

FLORALS –  add romance and delicacy to your look, again Claire Pettibone vibes all the prettiness in this trend. VENI INFANTINO for Ronald Joyce show case amazing floral displays on Zulu, Zamora, Kinley, Karlotte, Keva, Kelda, Kaoria, Celestina. And from their Annabel collection you can find Allie and Amelia. Marco & Maria had a modern floral feel at Barcelona Bridal Fashion Week.

2 in 1… A dress that with a simple take off or add on will transform a look. Below a huge skirt comes off to reveal a cute slip. This isn’t a new trend but it’s definitely more popular with the rise of the minis as a night time glow up.
