Worn once on my wedding day 6th September 2024
Professionally dry cleaned
Original size UK 22 – I am 5 foot 10 and a UK size 16-18 however wedding dresses come up very small! I wore the dress with a 2 inch block heel so on the day I was more like 6 foot. Even with alterations it will therefore still be pretty long for a more petite bride to make their own!
Professional alterations:
– Reduced train significantly
– Created a inner section to disguise a previously visible hem in the middle over tummy/hips
– Bust brought in a little via stitches (I image they can be unpicked for a larger chest – I’m a 36E for reference)
– Waist brought in due to weight loss (2 inches)
I absolutely loved wearing this dress and it was extremely flattering! The straps are optional as can be clipped on and off.
