Ian Stuart Wedgwood dress in Ivory taffeta with embroidered bodice and lace and beaded detail. The dress has a strapless bodice with a sweet heart neck line and lace up and button back. The ivory fabric has a subtle warmth and a beautiful glow that changes with light. It really is a stunning and unique wedding dress.
Purchased 2006 for £2,000 as a size 12 which was altered to a standard 10 by professional bridal boutique. Lace at bottom front of skirt also raised slightly for my height 5 ft 4″
Professionally cleaned and carefully packed with acid free tissue in a beautiful large pink wedding dress box. Stored in a smoke free pet free house at room temperature since 2006.
There are a couple of small but visible marks on the skirt, around 5mm and 8mm diameter which were probably red wine sauce but not removed during professional cleaning in 2006 (please see photo). Due to the ruched detail of the dress these marks could be hidden under a ruche with some alteration. There is another similar but less visible mark on the lower point of the bodice (please see photo).
No additional attempt has been made to remove these marks as they were only discovered recently when the dress was unpacked to take these photos.
