My beautiful size 10/12 silk bridal gown is a fabulous 1920’s inspired piece with a modified soft v neckline, couture cap sleeves and double lined french ivory silk satin wrap over skirt.
Couture dress from Irish designer Edwina Arya and I went for somewhere between her ‘Hathor’ and ‘Loren’ dress. Cap sleeves can be removed.
My dress was the ultimate in comfort, from the moment I put it on in the morning until I stopped dancing in the early hours of the morning. I’m conscious of my lower body, with legs and bottom being a little heavier but this dress just hit all of the right places and the shimmer from the material just made it extra special. When walking it looked like liquid gold, so for me the most unique and special part of the dress was the colour of the material, which will flatter almost any skin type. It’s everything I could have hoped for and more and definitely made me feel like some kind of classic Hollywood star! I’m excited that someone else will now to get to feel as special as I did on our big day.
