Book Review – The Honeymoon Hotel

Hello! Hope you’ve all been well, we’ve been busy here meeting lots of brides to be and their excitable wedding parties. The wedding season seems to be slowing down after a frenetic few weeks so we can all take a breath! I thought I’d do a book review this week. A lot of people will be thinking about honeymoons or holidays right now as the nights draw in and thoughts stray to warmer climes, so here’s a book I read recently that will be the perfect accompaniment to a sun lounger and a chilled beverage when the sunshine makes a reappearance. The Honeymoon Hotel by Hester Browne is a great read if you are looking for escapism and especially if you are honeymooning yourself and are not quite ready to remove yourself from the wedding planning bubble. Rosie is the Events Manager at the chic upmarket Bonneville Hotel in Mayfair. It’s trying to reclaim its spot as the ultimate romantic destination for a wedding in London. We are celebrating because, first of all it is Bridal Reloved Dorchester’s first birthday!  When we look back on this time last year, and when we first took the shop on and then all the work we did, getting to this milestone seems like a massive achievement.  Since we have opened, we have made lots of brides very happy by pairing them with their dream dresses and making their special day wonderful.  We have received so many pictures and notes from happy couples and it’s really warmed our hearts. We are fortunate to meet so many lovely people, this is what makes our job so rewarding.  We love being able to put a smile on people’s faces and we love being the facilitators of so many happy tears. Poundbury is a great place to work and we love the community atmosphere between all the local businesses, it’s a real team spirit that everyone has worked hard to create here and we are so proud to be able to say we are a part of that. We’d like to thank our neighbours and fellow Dorset businesses for all their support and networking over the last twelve months and we look forward to this continuing over the coming years. As a business we are growing and developing...
